The Aviation Robotics Team at Compass Public Charter School would like to share our excitement as we received the Excellence Award! The Excellence Award is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics competition. This award is presented to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotics program. Our team, Aviation Robotics, is a strong contender in numerous award categories which granted us an invite to the 2023 VEX Robotics State Competition. We have an excellent “shot” of making our way to the World’s Championship competition in Dallas, Texas!

As exciting as this accomplishment is, the costs associated with these events are high, but we are determined to compete in these rigorous competitions again this year. ! In 2022, we worked extremely hard and had a successful first-year with the remarkable achievement of making it to the World’s Championship in Dallas.

We know you would love to be associated with our hardworking and ingenuitive team! As you know, state and local budget constraints for extracurricular activities are completely underfunded. We rely on generous contributions from people and businesses like you to maintain a competitive and successful program. Your contributions will greatly help fund our team’s opportunity to attend these tournaments including participation fees, transportation, and travel accommodations.
