Sustainability Fund

The Sustainability Fund will enable the school to thoughtfully address facility needs and improvements that are supported in strategic planning.

Why Contribute to our Sustainability Fund?

As you may or may not know, charter schools do not receive the same facility funding that traditional public schools receive. Therefore, if you own a home, your property taxes to support schools are going to your local school district rather than to Compass, the school that is educating your child(ren). This is not a complaint, it is just a fact. However, it does mean that Compass has to think out of the box and find different ways to maintain our facilities.

This is a perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents, maybe even aunts and uncles, to make an investment in educating the future leaders of our community. By making a generous one-time donation or contributing a smaller amount per month, you will be helping sustain a highly effective program focused on developing our youth into contributing members of society. They say it takes a village to raise a child and this is what we are asking, please help us be a school community focused on our greatest resource, our children.

Maintaining a clean and beautiful facility conducive to learning requires annual projects that can be costly. Some examples include:

  • Interior and Exterior Painting
  • Replacing Carpet
  • Resurfacing and Repainting Parking Lots
  • Repairing/Replacing HVAC Systems
  • Repairing/Replacing Window Blinds

This is a tax deductible donation and you will receive a donation receipt from the school.
