As you may or may not know, charter schools do not receive the same facility funding that traditional public schools receive. Therefore, if you own a home, your property taxes to support schools are going to your local school district rather than to Compass, the school that is educating your child(ren). This is not a complaint, it is just a fact. However, it does mean that Compass has to think out of the box and find different ways to maintain our facilities.
This is a perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents, maybe even aunts and uncles, to make an investment in educating the future leaders of our community. By making a generous one-time donation or contributing a smaller amount per month, you will be helping sustain a highly effective program focused on developing our youth into contributing members of society.
