Homework Details
Reading Log: Read at least 20 minutes every night and fill out your reading log. (There should be a total of 100 minutes.)
Spelling: Write each word 3 times, use each word in a complete sentence, and write a list of the words in alphabetical order.
Saxon Math: Don’t forget to show your work. Your papers should be neat and organized with your name, number and the date on each paper. Also a title telling which math lesson. One math lesson per page of college ruled notebook paper please.
Please send the reading log back each week. Homework always goes home on Fridays and comes back the following Friday.
Please remind your child to write neatly and to put his/her name and number on every paper. Staple everything to the reading log and send it back in your child’s blue take home folder.
Birthdays: We will celebrate all birthdays on the last Friday of each month. You will be contacted by a parent volunteer about sending treats for your child.
Math Books: The math books should stay at home for the whole year in a safe dry place.
