Membership Selection
Procedure
Membership in National Junior Honor Society
is based upon scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character.
Membership eligibility will be reviewed in the spring semester of
each school year. Candidates
eligible for membership selection must be members of the 7th
grade, 8th grade, or 9th grade.
Candidates are eligible for membership selection after three
full-time semesters and must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
Their eligibility will then be considered on their service,
leadership, citizenship, and character.
A five member faculty council will then select members from the
candidates who demonstrate outstanding performance in service, leadership,
citizenship, and character.
