Hello, My name is Jon Stadtlander, and I am thrilled to be the 8th grade
teacher at Compass Charter! I am so excited to be a part of an
awesome school, a place where kindness is emphasized and academics is
valued. For the past thirteen years, I have taught English to
the7th through 11th graders here in Boise and in Twin Falls.
During these years, I have coached volleyball and basketball.
Furthermore, I am blessed to be married to my wife Melissa who is a
nurse at St. Lukes here in Meridian. We have three children,
Alyssa, Abigail, and Nate.

We will study six U.S. History periods or
sections in class. Each period of time will have dates that the
students will memorize. When we move onto the next section of
history we will memorize the new dates. The dates from the
previous historical periods will not be part of current test.
