We have seven students in HS Music this semester. With such a
small group, we will be doing several different things throughout the
semester. Right now we are working on vocal solos which we will
perform for our class and for a couple of the younger grades after the
break.
Hello! My name is Brenda Choate and I teach vocal and instrumental
music classes for grades K-11. I have been teaching over half of my
life and have worked with students from Kindergarten through college and
beyond. I have received a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and
Teaching Certification from schools in Kansas where I lived and taught for
over twenty years. This marks my fifth year as Music Instructor at
Compass and I love going to work everyday. I have been married for 26
years and have four boys who keep me very busy with various sporting events
year round. As a family, we love to fish, camp, golf, and hang out
around the pool!
