Hello, my name is Linette Gregg and I teach mathematics at Compass
Honors High School.I
am so excited by teaching and interacting with students that it is a
joy to come to work each day!My
teaching experience includes 14 years at Hagerman High School, 5
years at Filer High School, and 4 years as Dual Credit Instructor
for College of Southern Idaho.I
am also a member of the Adjunct Math Faculty for College of Western
Idaho and am happy to be teaching dual credit courses for CWI at
Compass.This
year is going to be a great one!
It is essential that
you participate in the educational process. I expect you to be
attentive, ask questions, and participate in open discussion in class. If
you need extra help on any topic or assignment I expect you to seek help
in a timely manner.
Homework should be completed the day it is
assigned. If you procrastinate it is more likely that you will not
remember how to complete it. Homework will be due the following class
period unless I decide it would be better to give extra time to complete
the work so the class can get a fuller understanding of the concept.
Math Lab is provided each week after school so you
can come in for extra help on any concept or assignment. Occasionally,
appointments can be made for additional help sessions. I expect you to
take the initiative and get the help you need in order to pass this
course.
No late work will be accepted. You are responsible
to get your assignments completed and handed in on time. Makeup work for
absences are due as outlined in the student handbook.
Cheating will result in an automatic zero for that
assignment or test. Even worse than the zero
grade will be the loss of my trust in you
