Without these documents, registration will be incomplete and your student cannot attend school until registration is complete. Note: Records will be transferred from their previous school but will not arrive in time for registration.

New Student Registration Information
Parent orientation meetings will be held at Compass Public Charter School on August 13th from 7:oo-9:00 pm for parents of new students in grades 1-11. Please note that this meeting is for parents only, there will be a new student orientations in June for grades 1-11.

The parent orientation meeting will give you an opportunity to learn more about the Harbor Method of Instruction and school operations for the 2009-2010 school year. It is also a good time for you to get answers to some of the questions you may have. Registration forms will be available at the meeting and you may drop off completed forms as well.

Registration Details
These instructions are for students who have never attended Compass and have been notified that they were drawn in the lottery to begin school in the fall of 2009 (not students on the waiting list).

Kindergarten: Registration will be by appointment on June 9th, 10th, and 11th. Please refer to the appointment card received in the mail for your registration date and time. While parents complete the registration packet, incoming kindergarten students will participate in fun activities that will serve as an evaluation of each child’s learning skills. Following the registration/evaluation, parents will be provided with suggestions for working with their child over the summer in preparation for starting school in the fall.
Grades 1 – 11: Open registration will be on June 9th,1-6pm
June 10th and 11th, 9am to 1pm.
